Ready plugins for WordPress, OpenCart and WHMCS, plus a REST API for custom sites and apps.Bitcoin is the oldest and most popular crypto asset. The Bitcoin blockchain, its structure, and its functionality are best suited for the non-custodial model as well as everyday payments. Popular stablecoins are issued by centralized companies that control transactions and can freeze your wallets and accounts, making them merely a digital equivalent of fiat currencies.
Bitcoin, on the other hand, is a decentralized asset used by millions of people not only as an investment but also as a means of payment around the world. Adding Bitcoin to your checkout gives customers another convenient payment option while reducing reliance on traditional financial institutions.
Unlike bank transfers and credit cards, Bitcoin transactions work globally without currency restrictions or banking hours. Customers can pay directly from almost any Bitcoin wallet, making international payments simple and accessible. Another major advantage is protection against chargebacks. Once a Bitcoin transaction receives the required blockchain confirmations, it cannot be reversed. This helps merchants reduce payment fraud while improving confidence in completed transactions.
Bcon follows a non-custodial model, meaning your Bitcoin never passes through our custody. Every payment is transferred directly to your own wallet address, giving you complete ownership of your cryptocurrency at all times.
Businesses choose Bitcoin because it offers:
- Lower transaction costs
- Global availability
- Fast international payments
- No chargebacks
- Direct wallet settlement
- Greater privacy
- Decentralized payment processing
Whether you sell any goods, digital downloads, subscriptions, or online services, accepting BTC helps you reach customers who want to pay with real cryptocurrency.
How to Accept Bitcoin Payments with Bcon
Step 1
Add Your Wallet Address
Begin by adding your Bitcoin wallet address to your Bcon account. Вам нужно лишь указать адрес кошелька куда хотите получать средства. For Bitcoin, there is Xpub — an extended public key. You can use absolutely any wallet that provides an extended public key and displays the addresses generated from it: Hardware wallet Software wallet Business wallet Self-hosted wallet Your wallet remains under your control at all times. Bcon never stores private keys and never has access to your cryptocurrency.
Step 2
Connect Your Website
Next, connect your website using the integration or API. For most merchants, installation takes only a few minutes using one of the available plugins. If you're building a custom platform, the REST API allows complete control over invoice generation and payment processing.
Step 3
Customer Starts Checkout
When a customer selects Bitcoin during checkout, your website creates a payment invoice through the Bcon API using the wallets you have added in your dashboard. Bcon automatically calculates the required payment amount in BTC based on the currency used on your website, for example, BTC/USD, BTC/EUR, and so on. The invoice contains: BTC payment amount Wallet address Payment expiration The customer simply scans the QR code or copies the wallet address into their preferred Bitcoin wallet. The invoice will display addresses generated from your own wallet, so the customer pays you directly.
Step 4
Payment Monitoring
After the transaction happens, Bcon automatically begins monitoring the Bitcoin network. The system detects: Incoming transactions On-chain confirmations Payment amount Transaction status Partial payments Completed payments You as a merchant don't need to manually verify blockchain transactions or monitor block explorers.
Step 5
Order Confirmation
Once the required confirmation count has been reached, Bcon automatically updates the invoice status via callback to your site, so you could : Complete the order Activate subscriptions Unlock digital products Grant customer access Send confirmation emails The entire process is fully automated, helping save your time while providing customers with a smooth payment.

Bitcoin Payment Flow
Step 1
Customer Places an Order
When selecting a payment method, your customer chooses Bitcoin, after which our plugin or your custom solution based on our API creates an invoice with a wallet address and the amount to be paid.
Step 2
Customer Sends BTC
Your customer sends the required amount to the wallet address specified in the invoice using any wallet, exchange, or exchange service that is convenient for them—it doesn't matter. Since the wallet address in the invoice is yours, for example, an address from Electrum or MetaMask, you receive the funds immediately.
Step 3
On-Chain Verification
At the invoice creation stage, Bcon already begins tracking incoming funds, and as soon as the transaction appears on the blockchain—or more precisely, in the mempool—Bcon is already aware of it and returns the following data via a callback: Transaction hash Payment amount Confirmation count
Step 4
Payment Confirmation
After each change in the number of network confirmations, Bcon also sends updated information via a callback. If you are using a plugin, the order statuses will change according to your settings. If you are using the API, you can configure the behavior yourself based on the data you receive. The whole point of the process is that you don't have to do everything manually—it's fully automated.
